Chanel Glossimer in Nakkar ($27 Levres Scintillant Glossimer #149) appears to be a very deep red with gold sparkles in the tube, and delivers a sheer deep strawberry pink/red glow.
At first, I thought this color would be unwearably bright. In fact, the color is rather conservative and face-brightening.

Here is Liz wearing Nakkar–as you can see, it looks suitable for almost any time of year and very pretty for Spring:
As an aside, Liz is wearing Chanel Le Vernis Dragon on her nails.

you’re killing me. really. I will buy anything I see on Liz, cuz somehow in my 40s, I still think I am Liz. lol. Beautiful!!
Hahaha polarbelle, you crack me up! I totally agree though
I passed on the lipsticks, but picked up Nakkar and Argonite. Although I consider Argonite to be the shining star of the lip products, I consider Nakkar to be one of those can’t go wrong colors that can be worn for any occasion. It is sunny and cheerful without being over-the-top bright. When I first saw it in the tube, I thought it was going to be a bit garish, but when I put it on, it became a soft warm pink. It was a pretty surprise–just like spring flowers
Drat, i have to get this one, it’s so pretty! i have 12 glossimers and was going to stop there LOL
I’m not sure I can stop Marina! They’re too pretty!
That is so pretty!
Liz is gorgeous – as is that darling dog! What a photo – should be framed! Merry Christmas!
Polarbelle, you’ve got the right idea! Liz wears Chanel so well that I feel like I need to go get Nakkar.
I bought Nakkar after seeing your swatch, and it’s my new HG surpassing Bel Air. I don’t usually like sparkly glosses, but this one really lights up my face. Any word on whether it’s LE or permanent?
