1.  L’Occitane Verbena Body Salt Scrub ($36) This is the best body scrub I’ve used in a while. It has a very intense, natural lemon scent. It smells soooo good—- honestly, it changes my entire day when I use this.

2.  NARS Multiple in Malibu came in this Sweet Disposition set.  This is a deep burgundy with a bronzy blue tint.  These deep tones look so good in late summer.  Because this has an overall cool tone, it looks good with soft silver and cool taupe eyeshadows.

3. I pulled this Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Palette in Steel Black (reviewed here) from my stash and found it makes a great, soft and flattering look.  Using the outside ring of soft cool taupe, and a touch of the lightest shade as a highlight, it looks like I tried much harder than I actually did.

 4.  Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (reviewed here) makes a great dry oil for fast skin and hair conditioning.  Sometimes I put it into my hair for an hour in the morning while I’m reading or doing other things.  By shower time, it rinses out very cleanly and leaves my hair very soft.

5. Burberry Nude Rose lipstick (reviewed here) is an effortless way for a smooth, polished look.

So, what are you loving right now? I’d love to learn…

  1. I’m enjoying the Chanel duo in Taupe delicat. Makes my eyes look great in a subtle way.
Gloss D’Armani in 401 – feels so lovely in and a very pretty color
Nars velvet lip gloss pencil in Baroque – a quick swipe and I’m good to go.

  2. Thank you for mentioning Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse – I always want to try it but forget!
I am in love with new YSL Volupte Perle Celestial Mauve, so unique color!

  3. L’Occitane Verbena series is amazing in general, haven’t tried the scrub but would like to now.
Right now I am in love with my RBR eye shadow in Bejewelled Skylark, BECCA mascara, YSL bronzer from summer collection, Elemis scrub from Exotic line and Jo Malone Vanilla and Anise cologne. I could go on actually 🙂

  4. 1. The new Chanel Illusion d’ombre eye shadows
    2. The new Roger & Gallet Bois d’Orange dry body oil. A warm summery scent
    3. Serge Lutens Boxeuses
    4. Hydrochrono+ face cream from Lierac

  5. My god – that Nars Multiple looks incredible. I think I need it. I don’t think I own any burgundy blush products, hmmmmmmm.

  6. 1. YSL Top Secrets Pore Refiner (for those who may have large pores, this is exquisite under foundation, powder, etc)
    2. Chanel Soin Tendre Levres SPF 15
    3. Sephora Iced Brown eyeliner (close enough dupe for Rose Platine in a smaller size, travel ready)
    4. Molton Brown Coco de Mer Bath & Body Wash
    5. Chanel Quartz nail polish

  7. Amy, your ‘what I’m loving right now’ posts are among my favorites! Have to ask, since you posted the grey Armani palette rather than the Dior smoky pink, if you are not loving the Dior quite so much as you did initially?
    Have a lovely day : ).

    • Hi there– I do love the Dior but find the Armani coordinates better with Nars Malibu, which has been my fave for a bit. The Dior looks really good with Chanel Pink Explosion and a no- bronze look (on me at least).

  8. Someone gave me various items from the verbena line and I thought I would hate it – never been a fan of fruit or food scents. But WOW – seriously, this stuff is amazing for stress!

  9. Your list is awesome. I think Malibu is a great color, too.

My top favorites at the moment are:
    1. vitamin C serums. Apparently, DIY ensures the freshest possible actives. I’ve seen a huge difference in pigmentation.
    2. Guerlain Chamade Rouge Automatique is still my go-to summer lipcolor
    3. I love the central gold of Shiseido GD804 Opera Trio set against fluttery lashes
    4. the Leonor Greyl ethos of pre-shampoo oil, scalp massage, and conditioning rinse—it’s so strange to go without conditioner, but it definitely works!
    5. I’ve been mixing Cartier Baiser Volé and Annick Goutal Le Chevrefeuille, since the sweetness of one seems to balance the acidity of the other: the olfactory equivalent of a white lace dress

    • I’m very interested in Vit C serums so I googled DIY and, of course came up with recipes. I guess I was expecting a brand called DIY. Duh. Is a recipe what you intended? Do you recommend any in particular?

      • I am currently testing samples sent to me by the very kind Dempeaux, who shares her recipes on her blog.

I’m working through a bottle of CE+Ferulic, which is the harshest, most volatile among my samples. I haven’t completed a full trial, but here is a shot of my progress thus far. Since my skin is extremely thin, I saw a difference in the overall pigmentation right away, but the deeper, denser melanin has been more stubborn, so I haven’t updated yet.

  10. This is what I’m loving right now:
    1. Cellcosmet Cellular Eye Contour Cream, perfect timing for the upcoming cool weather
    2. Becca Beach Tint in Grapefruit, such a nice within natural glow look
    3. Guerlain Kohl, an amazing waterline liner
    4. Chanel Illusion D’Ombre eye shadow, loving Illusoire shade
    5. Chantecaille Talc Free Loose Powder in Light, perfect to touch up on oily nose

  11. I’m loving:
    Lancome Cleansing Oil
Lancome Cleansing Water (in the morning)
    LMdB Peau Vierge
    Jouer Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer
    LMdB Flawless Face Kaleidoscope
    Chanel Quad “Kaska Beige”
Armani Gloss D’Armani in 400 Red

  12. Burberry Midnight Plum eyeliner – a dark, dark plum. Provides great definition. I am wanting to purchase the midnight plum eyeshadow to set the eyeliner. The Burberry MA put it on me and it made my eyes just pop, but I hesitated as usual. Now, it’s on my list to buy.
Burberry mascara – light formula but volumizing. I had been using YSL faux cils and wasn’t all that impressed.
