At Creatures of the Wind, NARS Director of Global Artistry James Boehmer created a look with gorgeous skin and strong eyes. He’s using Nars new Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF30/PA+++–something I’ve been test wearing for about a week and really enjoying so far. As a quick preview, it has a good physical sunscreen and is said to reduce the appearance of dark spots, give brighter, more even skin and provide moisture. I’m enjoying it so far–it has a very soft, lightweight feel and has a lifelike glow compared to some others I’ve worn. It has medium coverage (a full review forthcoming). If you’re interested, Nordstrom is running a gift with purchase for the foundation here.

I love the way that Nars Cayenne looks on that eye! “The look is about ethereal, forest-wet skin,” said James Boehmer, NARS Director of Global Artistry. “You can’t use enough moisturizer – it’s dewy and really radiant. The eye should be defined in its shape but worn-in with its effect. As if you can see the eyelid through it, which we get from the gloss.”

Below are the key products used to create the exclusive look:

EYES
LIPS
· Rouge Tribal Larger Than Life® Lip Gloss (new for Spring 2012)
All products, except where noted, are available at narscosmetics.com. Here’s the look on the runway:

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

I’m glad you’re back! NARS seems to be your latest obsession.
It really is! I go through NARS phases a few times every year (usually after a new collection). I think seeing the way that these are used by a pro inspires me.
I’m still in Chanel phase. BTW, have you seen subscription for Las Vegas collection?
No, I called and spoke to a few people who had received it. I passed–honestly, I have a number of gold highlighters from Chanel that they’ve released over the past 2-3 years. From the reports that I’d heard, it did not deliver significantly different results from the prior releases. Also, the swatches that I saw of the other product did not inspire. Perhaps this is one that I do not need.
Thank you for this. I think James Boehmer is very talented.
I can’t way to read your review (and see swatches) of the Tinted Moisturizers!
