Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Lipstick in Dubai

April 24, 2012

When I first saw Le Metier de Beaute’s Spring 2012 Color Core lipstick in Dubai ($32), I knew I had found a new favorite. Dubai is a soft, dusty rose that covers my pigmented lips completely, adds a moisturizing glow, and feels amazing. I really love this formula, and Dubai is the perfect, crowd-pleasing deep and gentle rose that will look flattering and universal on a wide range of skin tones. Comparison to Le Metier’s Fiji and Paris:

You can see that Dubai is deeper that Fiji. Here’s Liz modeling Dubai:

Bottom line: Highly wearable on-trend color, very moisturizing, nicely opaque with a single coat. Love.

The whole collection looks gorgeous, and the city names are a nice touch. Fiji perhaps is my favourite!

That is a gorgeous color. It reminds me a little of a Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick in Vintage Pink (love it) so I’m not sure I’d spend $32 on it…but then again the formula is probably significantly better, and well, it’s Le Metier so there’s not much else to say on that :).

hello, i have a question about burberry foundation shades. I am nearly same colouring as liz maybe a little darker (guerlain foundation 03, chanel 30) would you get trench 05 or trench 07?)

I’d get a sample from Nordstrom SF. They’ll ship the sample to you. Liz typically would wear a 5, although many of her pictures on the site have a wide range of skin tones because she bronzes.
