fantastic interview ladies – it was a great feature! so now I have to ask….Amy, did you review the Perricone MD Ester C? I’m curious because I was going to buy this product but my SA at Nordstrom recommended something by PTR instead as she described this product as “artificial C”. Thoughts?

    • Amy December 12, 2012 at 1:19 pm

I did! I’ve been using it since before I originally posted it. I don’t know if its artificial or not but I do love the format of it. The tubes are small enough so that the product stays fresh. Each tube lasts me about 2-3 weeks used 1x day. I love the effect, and the fact that’s a light cream formula. I’ve spilled a near-full bottle of liquid Vitamin C in the past and it’s a heartbreak at those prices (I’d rather have a cream that I can pack). I registered for auto-delivery for this on Perricone MD’s website, so I get a free Perricone Vitamin C for Eyes with every order plus a 10% discount. I called to slow down the shipments because I don’t go through one of these every month. They can do any schedule you like–even every six months if you want to take it slow.

excellent – i’ll go through and read your review now. I may get a sample first as I have sensitive skin (even at 35) so I almost always need to try before I buy. Thanks!

Can I ask what lipstick Liz is wearing in the first picture? It’s gorgeous?

    • Amy December 12, 2012 at 1:39 pm

Of course Ashley! It’s Edward Bess Demi Buff. Thanks! 🙂

Does Liz use liquid or compact Vitalumiere? Thanks for the post. I love your blog.

    • Amy December 12, 2012 at 3:19 pm

She uses the liquid, Mar-thank you! 🙂

Ahhh…thanks for clarifying. I assumed the compact based on the picture. BTW Amy did you end up settling on B10 or BR22 in the compact (or neither) for yourself? I believe we are similar in skintone. Thanks!

What a treat to read more about the two of you!

I don’t usually use the higher end brands, but really appreciate the honest reviews and swatches. I don’t have access to bigger counters where I live, and you have really helped me weed out ‘lusts’ and ‘musts’.

Also I enjoy the Paris trips you take and share with us. You really have a way of capturing the City and really showcasing it.

I thought I was one of the only people in the world who knew about Prestige Total Intensity eyeliners! 🙂 I always mention them when talking about great liners.
