Spring 2013 brings new lipglosses to Burberry Beauty– I chose Mallow Pink (#19) and Pink Sweet Pea (#20) ($27 each). Both have a similar formula–beautiful, glossy and well pigmented. These vibrant colors apply with a nice dose of rich color which nearly cover my pigmented pink-mauve lips (not all glosses do).
These have a slight perfume scent which fades after a minute or two, and I find that these are non-drying. They are one of my favorite lipgloss formulas for comfort and longevity.
Burberry Mallow Pink is a rich pink coral.

Another look with both Coral Pink blush and Mallow Pink blush:
Burberry Pink Sweet Pea is a vibrant pink with blue pearl. This combination has some edge. Although Burberry has some amazing strong reds, Pink Sweet Pea breaks new ground as one its standout pink glosses.
This is a vibrant, pigmented gloss.

Here is a full look, with Burberry Pink Hydrangea blush (reviewed here).
Here are some swatches with some vibrantly colored glosses in my collection. Here are Burberry Pink Sweet Pea, Burberry Mallow Pink, Chanel Courtisane, Chanel Pink Pulsion, the very sheer Chanel Fluo Laser, Chanel Pink Teaser, and Guerlain Terracotta Gloss Fraise a Coquer (this was limited edition from a past collection and no longer available, and yet it’s spectacular).
One more, same glosses different lighting:
Bottom line: If you are looking for vibrantly colored, yet sophisticated, beautifully formulated glosses, these are both amazing choices. The colors are brightening and gorgeous.
