I hope you find them helpful! First: You can tell that Tom Ford Enchanted as a more pink/mauve impression. Second: Third: Please follow us on.... 13 Comments Becca @ The Beauty Sample on January 1, 2013 at 4:00 pm Oh wow–didn’t realize they were so similar! I generally am partial to mauve-toned shadows but in this case, I think I prefer Raffinement. Can’t wait to pick it up tomorrow!!! Bellyhead on January 1, 2013 at 4:51 pm Thank you so much for doing this comparison! Like Becca, I had no idea they were similar. I already own Enchanted and had been looking to purchase the Chanel, but I think they would be too similar to own both. Holly on January 2, 2013 at 9:46 am Thanks so much for this; I was wondering what they’d look like in comparison to the other. I wish I could pick up both, but I’ll be picking up the Chanel very soon! Yin on January 2, 2013 at 3:34 pm Thanks for posting this!! I didn’t realized they were so similar! I have and love enchanted. I don’t usually wear browns, too warm on me and I don’t think it brightens my eyes at all. I was already going to pass on the quad bc I have UD naked and naked 2 palettes, now I know for sure I don’t need it! 🙂 Jackie on January 2, 2013 at 5:38 pm TF Enchanted reminds me of Chanel Stupendous quad too. Makeup Morsels on January 4, 2013 at 1:58 pm They’re both gorgeous 🙂 I love Chanel Raffinement, but there’s something about that liner shade in TF Enchanted that’s so lovely…. Elin on January 5, 2013 at 7:48 am Thank you so much for your helpful swatches and amazing blog!! How do Chanel raffinement compare to some brown Burberry shadows such as Pale Barley and Midnight Brown? Can I justify buying the Chanel quad if I already own several brown/beige Burberry shades? Amy on January 5, 2013 at 8:08 am There’s an old saying in makeup–‘your mileage may vary.’ Elin–I think that’s a judgment call. Are they identical? No. Are they “close”? One might say, they are both neutrals so yes. Another sees different browns, so no. Thank you for your question–perhaps others can weigh in? Elin on January 6, 2013 at 12:48 am “Not identical” and “different browns” sound good enough for me :-). Lori on January 5, 2013 at 7:46 pm Do you know if Tom Ford’s Enchantment quad is available anywhere? I didn’t know if it was LE or not. I thought it was so pretty and right up my alley, but kept resisting because of the price. Now, I may be out of luck! 🙂 Amy on January 5, 2013 at 8:25 pm Lori, I’ve heard that Bergdorf Goodman (NYC) got a late second shipment. Failing them, I’d ask a friendly Neiman’s associate to call around for you. Lori on January 5, 2013 at 10:02 pm Thanks! I’ll check with them tomorrow. Chelle on January 19, 2013 at 7:26 pm All of these shades are beautiful!
