Concealer NARS

Preview: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

February 14, 2013

NARS is releasing its new NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer line on February 20th on and at NARS flagship boutiques (everywhere else on March 1).  We’ve seen this used in a few of Nars backstage work during New York Fashion Week for Fall 2013 over the past week, finally it is being released to all.

According to NARS:

Ideal for all skin types, new NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer boasts a luxuriously smooth texture enriched with hydrating skincare benefits. When applied to camouflage darkness under the eyes and reduce the appearance of redness and skin imperfections, the multi-action formula provides medium to high buildable coverage in a natural, radiant finish with long-lasting results. A single stroke keeps complexion looking fresh and creaseless all day – going on smoothly and blending easily. Light diffusing technology blurs imperfections and fine lines, and evens skin tone without masking skin’s natural coloring. Skin glows with new radiance over or under foundation – and looks beautiful even when bare.

Perfect as a complement to Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF30 or layered with Sheer Matte & Sheer Glow Foundation. Crease-proof. Long-wear. Non-comedogenic. Dermatologist tested. Paraben-free. Alcohol-free. Fragrance-free.

I have yet to find a concealer I *love* (I think this may be in part user error) so I will be interested to check this out!

hi amy!!! wow!! stella tennant looks gorgeous!! i love her makeup! i was just about to go and get a concealer at my local chanel counter. but, i’m going to wait and try this one. did i read incorrectly? will this be available at nars counters, specifically nordstroms? i will need the artist from the nars counter to suggest a color for me. but, i suppose this should not be used other places on the face for blemishes. could you please suggest one? i’m thinking clinique. i’m 44 years old and, my skin was always good! now, i’m battling acne, especially on the chin area. thankyou for you’re superb posting (as always)! wendy xo.

Hi Wendy, it will be available at Nordstrom beginning in March!! 🙂 For a concealer on blemishes, I’ve found Vichy Dermablend liquid foundation used as a concealer works well. You might also check out whether the derm might have something for acne/anti-aging. Sometimes retinol is the perfect solution for both, but your own doctor will know best.

thankyou amy! unfortunately, they don’t sell this where i live…just dermablend at ulta. i’ll have to order it online. could you please suggest a shade? i guess i’m considered nc 15? no darker than a 20. also, would you know what makeup stella tennant is wearing? i love that lip color and blush. i also love how you’re really just focusing on her blue eyes. anyway, thankyou for all your wonderful advice, time and help!!! xoxo

I’m sorry I can’t be more help, Wendy, but I would get either of the two lightest shades. I don’t know the rest of the makeup breakdown either.
