NARS Parallel Universe Duo ($35) is a soft gold and lavender in a high-impact metallic finish. NARS Outer Limits ($25) single eyeshadow has a smooth, duochrome metallic texture that is a deconstructed rose gold. I’ve never seen anything like it, ever. I’m providing these links: Outer Limits on Beauty.com and NARS.com; and Parallel Universe on NARS.com, Nordstrom.com, and Beauty.com. Please keep in mind that Outer Limits has been difficult to catch in stock (if you see it and want it, get it!). I suspect it sells out quickly because of its uniqueness. I’ve noticed it coming back into stock for brief periods over the past few days, so there’s still hope.
Parallel Universe has a futuristic texture that is pure joy for a party, or evening event. Its shimmerific, with a metal quality that doesn’t have obvious glitter.
Parallel Universe and Outer Limits:
Here is NARS Outer Limits, which is extremely unique.
This isn’t something that one’s going to wear to the office or work event, but the drama factor on this is gorgeous. I admire NARS and Christopher Kane for delivering Outer Limits–something that is so unique and outstanding in its quality.
Here’s Outer Limits next to a swatch of the matte azalea-toned Starscape Blush.
Overall, NARS Christopher Kane collection–based on the concept of Neons and Nudes– is a highly creative collection, with some very unique pieces. In this Summer ’15, there are quiet, dramatic, and gorgeous pieces in this collection. There are pieces available at Barneys New York, Nars online, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue,
