Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 1

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day ($28/4 oz.) has been transformative for my travel-weary hair. In part because of using random shampoos, hard water and my colorist (whom I love but still), my hair has begun to frizz out. With five pumps and a good night’s rest, Living Proof’s Phd works overnight to magically transform my hair into something soft, sleek and shiny. Not kidding, I’m being serious here. Living Proof PhD is sold at SephoraLiving Proof online (use code PRIMESPR for a GWP), Walgreens and Drugstore.com.

Living Proof PHD 2

After arriving weary at my recent destination, I used the pump to distribute five pumps of the product throughout my medium-length hair. In the morning, I used my normal hair-washing routine. Today, my hair was noticeably transformed. The product hasn’t broken me out, and is truly “pillow proof” (it doesn’t stain or affect your bed linens). The effect is supposed to last for five days (we’ll see). Still, the results from the first night are so dramatic that I had to let you know about it immediately. Ingredient list:

My apologies for this quick picture set. Although I’ve been living out of a backpack this summer, with some recent surgery I have now lost the ability to travel with my backpack so these images were taken with whatever I could find. At any rate, if your hair is unruly, frizzy, untamable, this is worth checking out. Living Proof PhD is sold at SephoraLiving Proof online (use code PRIMESPR for a GWP), Walgreens and Drugstore.com.

  1. I love this stuff, too! I even use it as a styling cream (like it was a serum) after my hair is all styled and dry…it makes my hair so shiny!

  2. I’m a faithful Oribe customer and I tried several products from the Living Proof line recently. I’ll start by saying I have very thick dark wavy hair which I blow out twice a week and color every 5 weeks. My recent experience with Living Proof products was ok. I tried the Perfect Hair Day shampoo and conditioner along with the Overnight Perfector. I was not a fan of the shampoo/conditioner at all and I thought this product did ok on my hair. The noticeable difference for me was after a my morning wash/dry routine, my hair felt sticky for some reason – but it was shiny.

  3. I’m so glad it worked for you! It doesn’t do much for me at all. The smell is too strong, too, but at the same time it’s such a good smell. In order to get through the bottle, I’ll just use it like hair perfume. : )
