StriVectin-TL 360o Tightening Eye Serum ($69 / 1.0 oz) is an undereye light serum designed to reduce undereye puffiness and to tighten the undereye area. As it so happened, about one month ago I began to notice some undereye puffiness that I experienced in the mornings. When I was asked to test the product, I gratefully said “yes!”
I’m no rookie when it comes to good skin care. I’ve used some great classics designed for my undereye area–Chanel Sublimage Eye, Lancome Genrifique for Eyes, and others. StriVectin-TL 360o Tightening Eye Serum gave me much more dramatic immediate effects. My undereye area lost any trace of puffiness, seemed more flattened (read: tightened) and fine lines were far softer.
My first hint of the product’s effectiveness was when I woke up at 4 am for a cross-country flight. My seat mate (a stranger) could not believe that I had a daughter Liz’s age. Although I am blessed with good genes, I took this as a positive sign because my undereye area has been worrying me lately. I’ve taken many flights and missed numerous hours of sleep for work. In the harsh light of a hotel magnifying mirror, I could tell that this was taking its toll on my skin. Ingredients (click to enlarge):
The product comes in a squeeze tube with a flat metal applicator, which feels cooling under the eyes. Although the applicator is pleasant to use, the product itself is effective on its own (the effect occurs even when I apply with my finger). After using the product for several weeks, I’ve found that my fine lines are softer and my under eye area is still tighter. If I fail to use the product, I still get early-morning puffiness.
Bottom line–this product is quite effective. After using several products at higher price points which didn’t provide visible results, I’m pleased to find StriVectin-TL 360o Tightening Eye Serum delivered on its promises. I’ll definitely re-purchase.
